Over the counter free consultancy, run by the CPD with a staff of qualified technicians, which works to assist hoteliers in their difficulties related to the question of acceptance and accessibility, trying to support the principle that "access is convenient” Turismabile and CPD pursue, through the efforts and cooperation with qualified professionals, "transparent" accessibility.
This is a series of technical measures that make the structures accessible in pleasant and non-invasive, building environments suitable for everyone, but no less valuable from an architectural point of view.

Who we are
Our team leads an innovative project, unique in Italy, that for the first time addresses to the touristic operators on two directions: on one hand the work on the territory with a desk of free consulting, on the other hand a promotional circuit at a National level.
Turismabile is all this, an initiative wanted by the Regione Piemonte and realized by CPD – Council for people with difficulties Onlus – which intends to boost Piemonte tourism with the accessibility key as a synonym of quality in the touristic offer, by introducing historic, artistic, naturalistic receptive excellences of the region as something “for all”.
Not only motor. Intellective or sensorial disabled but also those categories of tourists who have particular needs: People with food intolerances, with allergies, elder and also, why not, pregnant women. All these people can find in Piemonte the ideal environment for a “no barriers” tourism. For the first time so, you manage to consider people with disability and with special needs not like “objects” in social tourism, but like subject in tourism tout- court. Subjects, i.e., ready to pay for services and attractions but also authorized to call for a treatment proportional to their needs and expense.
And here the concept of accessible tourism spreads to the facilities and the field operators, putting the accent on the fact that “tourism for all” it’s a market still relatively little developed, especially in Italy, where it is almost unknown and not exploited, even if made of 900 million potential customers all over the world.
Turimabile has been inserted in the regional strategic plan, to demonstrate how much the Region believes in the potential of this market. For the same reason, actually, it has been created a coordination table for accessible tourism with representatives of the Region, hotel associations, provinces, local touristic agencies and association of people with disability.
