The revolution of trains: Arenaways. arrives

From next September on Trenitalia will have a dreadful competitor. We’re talking about Arenaways, the first fully private train operator active on the National territory. It’s début is planned right after the end of summer on the high frequency way Torino-Milano. CPD, present at the press conference of the 15th July, defined the project “a basic conquest in relation to the needs of people with disability”.

Arenaways will work with ten daily run between the capital of Piemonte and the Lombardia one, through the station of Lingotto, Porta Susa, Santhià, Vercelli, Novara, Rho Fiera and Porta Garibaldi. Moreover, there will be activated two daily runs between Milan and Arquata Scrivia (stopping in Tortona and in Voghera) and other two among them the last one Torino (stopping in Alessandria and in Asti). The price of the ticket on way Torino-Milano will be 17 euro.

The wagons, fully accessible to people with disability, will be characterized by a unique class with reclining and ergonomic seats, bigger spaces (so granting a full mobility inside each wagon and between a wagon and another) and with electric plug. It will also be available a special wagon inside which there will actually be a real “shop on board” in which you can taste and buy food basilar or local or, even, order them to the staff and get them easily on the arrival station. «Our goal - states Mohammed Eid, project engineer –was since from the beginning the one of building a wagon around the passenger, where as passenger you mean the one with the most difficulty, so that everyone can travel and not just being transported».

But it’s not all. to purchase the ticket you won’t need long and annoying queuing in the station but you will just need a few clicks with the mouse comfortably sit in your room. Connecting to the website www.arenaways.it in fact you can book and purchase tickets online or, and this is the big news, you’ll just need to pay on board the price asked without any supplement.
